Baptism

If you have a baby for Baptism, congratulations!

If you live in our parish:
The first step is to attend the Baptismal Preparation Meeting. This meeting is held on the last Thursday of every month at the St Thomas Aquinas Church meeting room, Sycamore Avenue from 8pm until 9pm. Please do not bring the baby to the meeting, it is for the parents. Everything will be explained to you at this meeting. Once you have attended this meeting you will be given a certificate and you may proceed to book your baptism date with our parish secretary in the parish office at 1, Sycamore Avenue, 9.30am-12.30pm telephone: (01908) 372315, e-mail: staq@uwclub.net.

For those who live outside our parish boundaries:
We will happily baptise your baby only if you attend Mass in Bletchley every weekend. If not, please contact your local parish priest.

Any child over the age of seven years cannot be baptised without a whole course of instruction for First Holy Communion, lasting for several months (see next sheet).

If you are an Adult seeking Baptism or Confirmation:
Please attend the Sharing Our Faith course, which is a course of instruction for those who want to learn more about the Catholic faith, perhaps with an aim of joining. Thursday evenings, 8pm-9pm in the meeting room at St Thomas Aquinas.
