JULY 2017

Lapsed Christians

CHILDREN’S LITURGY

If your child has made their 3rd birthday and is confident enough to join the group without the need of a parent being present, then they are very welcome to join the Children’s Liturgy during Mass.  Parents are encouraged to stay to help their child ‘settle in’ for the first two occasions but after that your child should be able to be left under the supervision of our Parish Catechists.  Children who are preparing for First Holy Communion need to stay for the whole Mass in Church as this is an important part of their preparation.

NOISE AND DISRUPTION DURING MASS

We aim and hope to be a ‘child friendly’ parish where children are especially welcome. Yet as a courtesy to others, please do not feel embarrassed about having to take your child outside or into the meeting room (when it is free) for a few minutes, if they are particularly noisy. Thank you for your understanding.
