“THREE DAYS TO LIVE” PETITION

A new Petition against euthanasia has been launched by the SPUC Lives Worth Living campaign.  The petition is addressed to the Chief Executive of the NHS in England/Wales.  It points to new guidelines in NHS hospitals which put elderly and terminally ill people at risk.   See details on Poster at back of Church.

DIOCESAN JUSTICE AND PEACE CONFERENCE

Saturday 18 June 2016, 9:30am – 3:00pm

 

You are invited to the Diocesan Justice and Peace Conference on 18th June 2016 at St John the Apostle, Luton. The day, focusing on Laudato Si’, will be led by Barbara Kentish the fieldworker for Westminster Diocese Justice and Peace Commission. Barbara has many years’ experience of Justice and Peace issues. The conference starts at 9.30am with coffee and registration and will end about 3pm. There will be a chance to meet and chat to others involved in Justice and Peace around the Diocese. The conference is open to all and those attending are asked to bring something for a shared lunch.
