UPDATE

The Governing Body of the Bletchley Catholic Schools’ Federation convened for the first time on the 4th February. The Diocese has appointed 8 Foundation Governors as its representatives: Brian Emmanuel, Ron Graham, Jonathan Grendelmeier, Dr Andrea Moro, Simon Navin, Chizoma Okaro, Fr Christopher Perry and Catherine Stormonth. Mr Simon Navin was duly elected Chair of Governors. Please keep this hard working group of volunteers in your prayers as they begin their commission. They have a crucial role along side Mr Mundy in ensuring our Primary Schools are successful in meeting the needs of all the pupils and achieving high standards with gospel values and the Catholic faith at the heart of everything they provide.

FAMILY FAST DAY

Proceeds for CAFOD

This Lent we are asked to fast and give alms in support of our poorest sisters and brothers who have to live through extreme and unpredictable storms, droughts and floods.  Kyin Nu in Myanmar lost everything in a huge cyclone that devastated her small jungle village:  her possessions, house and three of her beloved children.  She has managed to rebuild slowly due to the compassion and generosity of CAFOD supporters.

Please give what you can this Family Fast Day

Commit to action in 2015 to help alleviate the effects of climate change on our sisters and brothers overseas.  Whether it’s eating less meat, turning off lights or walking to Mass, small actions make a big difference.
