HEAD COUNT

It is time for us to complete the Annual Parish Statistics. Could collectors please count all those at Mass, including children.  Please include members of the choir and those serving on the Altar.

CONFIRMATION 2015

The Bishop will celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation on 20th March 2015 at All Saints Church. If you are in Year 7 and above and are ready to make a firm commitment in your Catholic faith, please email the Parish Office for more details.  Classes will begin in the New Year and dates will be published shortly.  Those over the age of 16 will be asked to attend the Adult RCIA Classes which started last week.

Diaries for 2015 School Admissions

If you have been issued with a diary then please hand it in at the end of Mass on Advent Sunday (30th November 2014) and collect a receipt. Please ensure you have recorded your email address in the diary so we are able to notify you as to whether you have been given a reference.

SCHOOL ADMISSIONS 2016

If your child will be starting School in 2016 and you require a reference from Fr Christopher to support an application to a Catholic School, then you will need to register for a diary which is stamped at each Mass as a record of your child’s Church attendance. There will be a registration evening for parents on Monday 8th December at 7 pm at St Thomas Aquinas Church Meeting Room. Without a completed diary Fr Christopher is unable to issue references. (Diaries are not required for Catholic Secondary Schools).

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION ENROLMENT

If your child has started preparation for First Holy Communion in our Parish then they will need to come to the Enrolment Service, at All Saints Church, on Monday, 20th October, 6.30 pm.  This is a short service (not a Mass) where the children’s names are recorded in our Parish Register.

‘CAFOD will be launching a new campaign on Energy and Climate change called ‘One Climate One World’ which takes place on Saturday 1st November from 2-4 pm at St Paul’s School, Moorgate, Leadenhall, Milton Keynes MK6 5EN. I am in your constituency and would very much like to see you engage in this big issue in the run-up to the General Election. Your presence at this launch would be really important to me’.

Giovannia Cerrone, aged 80, late of Whaddon Way, whose Funeral is on Friday (24th) 10.30 am at All Saints Church.

 

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION GROUP for children not in our schools. This course is now full, but will run again next year for children in year 3 and above.

CHURCH RE-OPENING

We are currently waiting for the new chairs to arrive. Once they have been installed we will be able to reopen the church.  We hope that this will be the first weekend in November but please ‘keep an eye’ on the Newsletter in case this date needs to be amended.
