THANK YOU to all who helped with the Confirmation program this year.  It was wonderful to celebrate this sacrament with such a large group and we are indebted to the efforts of our adult leaders and helpers.

 

NEW CHALICES FOR ST THOMAS AQUINAS CHURCH We would like to purchase two new metal chalices and a ciborium for St Thomas Aquinas Church in order to replace the pottery chalices that are chipped and cracked.  As you can imagine these are quite expensive.  If you would like to make a donation towards this please do so by either speaking to Fr Christopher directly or simply write ‘Chalice Appeal’ on an envelope with your donation and place it in the collection or hand it in at the Parish Office.

LENT RETREAT The Third Day.  God’s Good Time 10.30 am – 3 pm Saturday 22 March Canon John Udris, Spiritual Director, Oscott College St Mary’s, Woburn Sands (Please bring a packed lunch) 

LENTEN LUNCH All Saints 12 noon Tuesday 8th April Mass at 11.30 am.  Proceeds to CAFOD.  2nd Collection today for Easter Flowers

TRAIDCRAFT STALL selling chocolates, sweets and biscuits will be available in the Meeting Room at All Saints after 11am Mass today and monthly thereafter.

PROCESSIONAL CROSS AT ST THOMAS AQUINAS You may have noticed a ‘new’ processional cross being used at the Saturday Vigil Mass.  This was found in the Presbytery attic and after a good clean now looks like new.  We decided to replace the cross because it had suffered some damage and although well repaired did not look in the best condition.

CALLING NEW ALTAR SERVERS! Are you in school year 4 or over?  Would you like the privilege of serving at God’s altar during Mass?  If so, please attend a training session at St Thomas Aquinas Church on Saturday 29th March at 11 am.

THE JUSTICE AND PEACE GROUP will meet on Friday 21st March at 8 pm in the Meeting Room of  St Thomas Aquinas Church. All Welcome

ALL SAINTS KITCHEN A polite reminder to please wash up and put away cups and dishes after use and to wipe down the sink and worktops so that it is always clean and tidy for the next group.  Thank you. 

YOUTH GOOD FRIDAY STATIONS OF THE CROSS If you would like to take part in this liturgy on Good Friday, at 12 noon, there will be 2 practices – Tuesday 25th March and Tuesday 1st April at 7.30 pm in the Meeting Room of St Thomas Aquinas Church.  While members of Phoenix Youth Club will ‘take the lead’,  there is a need for additional young people from year 7 upwards.  Readers, actors, musicians and a lead female singer needed!

LONDON MARATHON Pete O’Sullivan is running the London Marathon on the 13th April in aid of CAFOD.  If you would like to sponsor him please go to the website www.virginmoneygiving.com\peterosullivan Or, he will be outside church the weekend before, with a collection bucket!   

COMMUNITY VOICES WATER EATON WORKSHOP 1.30 pm 24 March  St Thomas Aquinas Church. If you enjoy singing you are invited to come and sample the experience of singing in a choir.  We meet on Monday afternoons should you be ‘free’ so do come along and join in the fun!

GOLF CLUBS! Golf clubs are being collected for Africa!  The aim is to collect 10 sets (4 sets to date) so if you can help please let Angela White know.  Thanks.
