SECOND COLLECTION today Bishop’s Maintenance Fund

MASS FOR THE DEAD HOLY SOULS Monday 4th November, 7.30 pm St Thomas Aquinas Church
For anyone who wants to pray for someone who has died;  we will especially remember by name all those for whom our parish conducted a funeral since last November.  It is one of our Catholic customs to pray for the dead in November. All Welcome

EXTRA MASS on SATURDAYS Beginning this week 9.30 am St Thomas Aquinas Church, Please note this is not a Mass of Sunday but ‘Mass of the Day’.

WORD and COMMUNION at ALL SAINTS on WEDNESDAYS We are very grateful to all those who have led Word and Communion Services when there has been no Priest available to celebrate Mass.  This has been especially true at All Saints on Wednesdays.
Now that there is a regular Mass in the Parish on Wednesdays at St Thomas Aquinas, at the same time, it only seems right to suspend Word and Communion unless Mass cannot be celebrated in the Parish on a given day.

PHOENIX YOUTH GROUP 7 – 9 pm on Tuesday St Thomas Aquinas Meeting Room

SHARING OUR FAITH 7.30 pm on Thursday St Thomas Aquinas Meeting Room DIVINE MERCY DEVOTIONS today 3 – 4 pm Adoration and Benediction St Thomas Aquinas Church.
Refreshments available afterwards in the Meeting Room.  All very welcome.

NOVEMBER is the month during which Catholics traditionally remember and pray for the dead and we pray for the Holy Souls in Purgatory to help them on their way to Heaven.
If you wish to write the names of your deceased loved ones and place the list in the purple box, we will pray for them during every Mass this month.

At St Thomas Aquinas:  Lists/Box located in the

                                        Lady Chapel

At All Saints:                  Lists/Box to the right

                                        of the altar.

REQUESTING A MASS INTENTION
If you would like a Mass to be said for your Intentions, or for the Intentions of someone else, please contact the Parish Office, or come to the Presbytery so we can ensure it gets recorded in the diary.
It is only possible for us to receive one Intention per priest, per Mass, per day and so if the day you would like is unavailable we can either arrange for your Intention to be offered on another day or send to another priest to be said in another parish.
In order to avoid upset or disappointment please don’t present us with envelopes with dated Mass Intentions as we cannot guarantee that that date is available.

With every blessing

for the week ahead
