TODAY IS THE SOLEMNITY OF THE EPIPHANY

DIVINE MERCY DEVOTIONS today 3-4 pm at St Thomas Aquinas Church followed by yummy refreshments.

ST PAUL’s SCHOOL Applications need no longer be supported by a diary but rather by ‘spot-checks’ during the year.  Hence no need for Year 5’s to collect a diary.

MAY THEY REST IN PEACE
Connie del Grosso, aged 71, late of Earls Close, who died on Christmas Day.  Connie was a regular at daily Mass at St Thomas Aquinas and contributed greatly to our parish by sewing purificators, corporals and beautiful altar cloths.  Her funeral is on Monday, 12.45 pm at St Thomas Aquinas Church.
Anthony Connell, aged 72, late of Berwick Drive whose funeral is on Thursday, 12.15 at Crownhill Creamatorium.
David Thomas, aged 81, husband of Carmel, late of Cheneys Walk whose funeral is on Tuesday the 15th, 1 pm at St Thomas Aquinas Church.
George Payne, late of Thames Drive and who died on Christmas Day.  His funeral is on Tuesday the 15th, 3 pm at All Saints Church.

Please remember the families in your prayers at this sad time.

UNWANTED CHRISTMAS PRESENTS
Please donate to the C AFOD “Bring and Buy” Sale to be held on Sunday 20th January.  There will be a box at the back of All Saints Church next weekend for your donations.  Thanks for your support.

ALTAR SERVERS “Well done” to those servers who are to receive today a bronze St Stephen’s medal for having completed one full year of service at God’s altar.  Special congratulations to Asha Taylor and Josh Mulholland who receive a silver medal for having completed ten years of faithful service at the 6 pm St Thomas Aquinas Mass.

We are currently blessed with no fewer than 45 altar servers and we thank them all.  New servers always welcome.  Let us know and we will train you up!

DIARIES begin to be signed today.
Why?  In support of priest’s reference for children to begin Catholic Primary Schools in September 2014.  Please don’t miss out by thinking your child is too young for a diary;  if in doubt please contact the Parish Office for a diary.

There are now only 8 signatories who will sign diaries at the time of the Children’s Liturgy of the Word, so please ensure your child goes out with the children, even if they are not staying for the Liturgy.  Lanyards available today to keep diaries secure.
