Newsletter: 23th December 2012

CHRISTMAS MASS TIMES.  Please take note of the Mass times this week which differ from the norm.  The 4.30 pm Mass on Christmas Eve really is solely for little children and their families;  it will probably be noisy and therefore unsuitable for adults unaccompanied by children.  The 10 pm Mass is preceded by carols from 9.30 pm.  There is no evening Mass on Christmas Day.  Mass on St Stephen’s Day (Boxing Day) is at 12 noon – so no 10 am Mass that day.

THE COLLECTION at the Christmas Masses is your Christmas Present to your priests which will be divided 50:50 between Fr Michael and Fr Joseph.  We thank you for your generosity ~ it is a pleasure and a privilege to be your priest.

CHRISTMAS POSTER.  Courtesy of the Knights of St Columba;  please take one and display it in your window.

CHRISTMAS MASS ROTAS out today for servers, eucharistic ministers and readers.  Please ‘sign up’ on the clipboards.

BAPTISM PREPARATION.  Meeting goes ahead on Thursday 27th December, for those who have a baby for baptism.  8 – 9 pm St Thomas Aquinas Meeting Room.

MAY THEY REST IN PEACE
Nora Umney, late of Ouzel Close, whose funeral is at Crownhill Crematorium, 2.45 pm on 28th December.
Kitty Woodley, late of Lambourne Court:  no funeral details yet.
