Midweek Mass Watch

Changes to Mass times on Wednesday,

Thursday and Friday

SOLEMNITY OF ALL SAINTS DAY.  Thursday is a Holyday of Obligation, a day on which all Catholics attend Mass.  Because of Maureen’s funeral, the Feastday Mass times are a little different this year:

Wednesday night Vigil Mass:

6.30 pm at St Thomas Aquinas

Thursday Masses:

10 am at St Thomas Aquinas  7.30 pm at All Saints

ALL SOULS DAY is on Friday.  Although not a Holyday of Obligation, many like to attend Mass that day to pray for the Holy Souls, a custom which lasts for the length of November.

Masses on Friday

8.30 am at St Thomas Aquinas

11.30 am at All Saints

7.30 pm at St Thomas Aquinas

during which we especially remember those who have died during the last year;  we have sent an invitation, by post, to every Next of Kin of funerals held here.  After the 7.30 pm Mass there will be tea and biscuits in the Meeting Room.  All welcome.

CALLING ALL CATECHISTS!  Bishop Peter invites you to meet with him on Thursday, 8th November, 7 pm – 8.45 pm at St Thomas Aquinas Meeting Room.  Anyone who teaches our children in the ways of faith is welcome to attend:  teachers, baptism helpers, First Holy Communion helpers, Children’s Liturgy of the Word, Confirmation leaders, etc.  Please come and hear what our Bishop has to say to you.

TWO NEW CIBORIA have arrived this week to complete our new set at All Saints.

Why not pay your offering to the Church by way of Standing Order, the more convenient way.  Just let us know by dropping this slip in the basket.
