PARISH FAYRE MEETING for all those involved:  7 pm Wednesday 19th September
St Thomas Aquinas Meeting Room
New faces and old faces welcome

CHILDREN ARE VERY WELCOME in our church, we love to have them.  However, it is unfair if they distract others from their prayers.  When your child is being a little noisey please do not feel embarrassed to take them into the Meeting Room or outside until they have quietened down.  Everyone understands.

ARE YOU A TREASURED CHILDREN’s LITURGY LEADER?

Would you like to get involved?
The parish is happy to pay for your attendance on a Training Course:
10 am – 1 pm Saturday 29th September
St Augustine’s Church, Heelands (nice and local)

You will be exploring the theory (theology and liturgical guidelines) and share good practice, ideas and resources.  I would urge every one of our helpers to attend this course.  We are very proud of our Children’s Liturgy at 6 pm, 9 am and 11 am Masses and we want to invest in our helpers.  Please contact Jo, by email or phone, at the Parish Office by Friday when she will book the final numbers.

CRB CHECKS.  Due to a build up of applications at the Diocesan Office and pending changes to the process and possibly to the forms (e.g. ID checking process) we have been asked to stop doing CRB Checks at Parish level until such time as the backlog is cleared and the expected changes become clearer.  Thank you for your continued patience and good will.

May God Bless Us All
